Yá’át’ééh (Hello) family and friends!
The Native American (First Nation) people have held a special place in my heart and spirit, for some years now. It has been my prayer that the Lord would one day open the door to connect with and minister among these creative, special and often forgotten people. God is faithful and has opened this door! Below is a trip summary and pictures, from the Tomlins, that I would like to share. I’ll be sending out a separate BBI newsletter, with more information on past, current and future BBI projects. The Lord is using your support, involvement and encouragement to “build bridges” and touch many lives both in the US and around the World.
FYI: This building is being used as a place of worship and multi-purpose ministry center. It is a “refuge” and will serve this purpose in days ahead. Most of the pictures are of the building itself; however, know that the Lord is building bridges “relationships” that are establishing God’s glory among the Navajo people and in turn throughout the nations! We met some really neat families that are connected with this ministry. Pray for wisdom and encouragement for the missionary family serving here long-term. Pray that Jesus will touch and transform the lives of the Navajo people (particularly within families) in this congregation and that they will in turn reach their communities. Pray that Psalm 24 will take hold in the hearts and lives of these people. Pray that this will become a mission training and sending center and a house of prayer for the nations! Ask the Lord how He may want for you (us) to get involved in future outreaches, and then keep your ears and eyes open! There is much more to share so contact me for more details. May the Joy of the Lord be your strength.
Thank you for standing with me! Bryan
